Prior to 2009, few people outside of the club circuit might have known who Pauly D even was. That all changed in 2009 when we was cast for a role on Jersey Shore. That would catapult his name into millions of household homes. Out of the many housemates who were on that show, he was the first one that would get his own spin-off. You might be interested to know that he also has one daughter and that she is the love of his life.
You might wonder how Pauly D could make so much money on a simple reality television show. Well, keep in mind that this was a show that grew in popularity throughout its existence. From the time he first started on the show in 2009, he has made quite a bit of money. For the sixth season alone, he was paid a sum of $150,00 for every episode. To put that in perspective, that is the same amount of money that LL Cool J makes per show on NCIS Los Angeles. He also received a $400,000 signing bonus, and there was a reunion bonus that he was paid $150,000 for. Add that that to the estimated $200,000 he received as an end of season bonus and he apparently raked in an estimated $2.55 million for that one season alone.
Thanks to his success on Jersey Shore, a spin-off was created starring him and titled The Pauly D Project. This was a unique show that went back to his roots as a DJ and covered that aspect of his life. It really was not a bad deal. He would get to go back and throw his own private parties and perform at various clubs around the area. The show would then feature him, follow him around, and pay him roughly $40,000 for every episode. Understandably, this would also add to his net worth.
Product Endorsem*nts
While Pauly D has made a great deal of money as a reality television star, his notoriety has also made him the target of more than a few products. He would end up making quite a bit of cash from various commercials and other forms of product endorsem*nts that he would give through the years. His most notable appearance was on a Kraft Miracle Whip commercial.
Don’t Forget the Music
Pauly D has been so active on the television screen, that it could be easy to forget that he has quite the music career as well. Back in 2010, he released a single that became a hit. It was Beat Dat Beat. In that same year, he was nominated for America’s Best DJ competition. This was the same time that he was just getting started on Jersey Shores, so the money began to pour in. To prove that, 2011 saw him signing a three album deal with a major record label. He was partnering with 50 Cent and his G-Unit label for that. It was around that team that Pauly D revealed he had created a new headphone would be released under that same label.
Britney Spears brought Pauly D along on her Femme Fatale Tour back in 2011. This would increase his name recognition outside of the New England area. He would continue releasing singles about every other year to keep his name in the mainstream media. Through it all, he continues to partner with celebrities who have contributed greatly to his success through the years.
